    No, not my bikes!
I went and looked at a couple Triumphs for sale around 29 Mile and I-94. I'm not interested, so I thought I'd pass along the information.

    1. 1970 Bonneville. Extended front end; looks like it's from a newer model. Headlight ears missing, and headlight replaced with two fog lights. Original tail light. High handlebars. Original gauges. Looks like original tinware; some rust but fenders haven't been cut. Paint not original, not in very good condition. Slash-cut "custom" exhaust. Rusty wheels. New replacement seat. Owner says, "Ran when put away" ... ten years ago. (Engine does turn over.) He's asking $950, didn't like my ... um, "lower" offer.

    2. 1969 T100. Rolling basket case. Extended forks. High handlebars. Saw engine on work bench, looks intact, but didn't try turning it over. Didn't see fuel tank, but owner says he has it. Chrome oil tank. Owner said he'd like to get "at least $400."

If interested, call Les at 586-727-2451
