The future is bright and it appears spring is finally here. The cars are emerging from their winter sabbatical and the next Rears & Gears is just around the corner! We had such a great time hanging out atJD Karting last month that we figured we would just invade the place and make it ours for this months event. There will be go-kart racing for everyone to enjoy and we plan on making use of the track in a couple of other ways too. One is team tandem shopping cart races and the other may include some of the world famous Detroit Derby Girls!
In addition we will have a great selection of attractions for everyone to review. So far they include the 2000 Cadillac LMP race car, a custom Ducatti motorcycle, and the prettiest umbrella girls anywhere. The Middlecott Sketchbattle will be on hand doing live sketching and design, if you have never seen their creativity in action, you won't want to miss it. The Motorless City Bicycle Co., a brand new start-up in Eastern Market will show off a couple of new designs and we are working on displays of high end watches, high tech bicycles, drones, and stylish men's ties.
It all kicks off at 6PM at JD Indoor Karting in Novi, MI on Thursday April 23rd. Our girlfriends from theTilted Kilt will make sure we don't go thirsty and we are talking to a couple of the newest food trucks in Detroit about entertaining our taste buds. Registration is $25 per person prior to the event (online) or $30 at the door. Please invite a couple of friends and provide a business card for entry. Everyone looks forward to seeing you there!
We are expecting great weather so don't be afraid to dust off that special car and cruise over because we will have their huge parking lot all to ourselves! PlusMotor City Auto Spa will be doing a live demonstration of the Xpel clear bra and showing us how to care for our pride and joy.
